Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Network Architect to join our team. This position is vital in designing and developing scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). As a member of our networking team, you will play a key role in building out a new Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) network fabric running on Sonic OS, configuring Cisco 8K Series Routers, and providing advanced technical support for ACI technologies. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our data center operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in building out a new ACI network fabric running on Sonic OS.
• Design, configure, and deploy Cisco 8K Series Routers.
• Research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions while applying knowledge of ACI engineering principles.
• Provide Tier III technical support for ACI technologies within the data center environment.
• Automate daily operational duties supporting the Data Center Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI).
• Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies, competition, concepts, and trends.

Basic Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of experience in network architecture or related roles .
• Experience configuring Nexus switches with a strong understanding of their functionalities .
• Proven experience implementing, troubleshooting, and automating ACI solutions effectively within a data center environment .
• Tier III escalation support experience specifically in data center environments .
• Hands on experience working with Cisco 8K Series Routers such as the 8100, 8200, 8600, or 8800 series .
• Proficiency in executing basic Network Routing Protocols like OSPF and BGP; working knowledge of ISIS for ACI routing is also required .
• Knowledge of VLAN configurations or MACsec (Media Access Control Security) protocols is essential .
• Solid understanding of the Data Center industry including products and protocols relevant to network infrastructure operations .
• Familiarity with Python programming language preferred for automation tasks related to networking solutions (preferred but not mandatory).
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaboration across teams.
• Effective organizational skills along with planning capabilities are critical to managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or an equivalent combination of training/education/experience is necessary.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with SONiC OS or other open source network operating systems would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of SAI (Switch Abstraction Interface), which defines generic object based CRUD APIs for switching silicon configuration monitoring.
• CCNP or CCIE Certification indicating advanced networking competency.
• Experience on SONiC & SAI.
