We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in React and Node.js, and a solid background working with data-driven applications. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain modern web applications that deliver a seamless user experience, while also contributing to data workflows. This JD is to select three engineers who will join the BK Insights Platform team in January, working alongside the four engineers already on the team. The BK Insights Platform is a critical internal tool used by franchise owners, restaurant managers, and operational teams to access key data, reporting, and performance metrics. The platform spans 50–60 pages and is undergoing a major modernization, migration, and integration effort, offering a high-impact engineering opportunity as the team works toward delivering a fully integrated, feature-enhanced version by June/July next year.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React and Node.js.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and deliver new features.
  

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best engineering practices.
  

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, performance issues, and integration problems.
  

• Work with data-related components, including Snowflake, and support the integration of data workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
  

• Strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and their surrounding ecosystems.
  

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
  

• Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses.
  

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Desirable

• Experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
  

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, testing practices, and automation.
  

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  

• Experience with Retool or similar internal tooling platforms (not required, but a plus).

Advanced English

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
