🚀 Senior Quality Automation Engineer (Mobile)

We’re looking for a highly technical Senior Testing Engineer to design, develop, and maintain mobile test automation for a next-generation consumer fintech app 🌎💳. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality across critical financial modules like Savings, Direct Deposit, Balance, and Cash-In, working within a mono-repo architecture and a weekly release cadence.

🧩 Responsibilities

📱 Design, develop, and maintain functional automation for Android (Kotlin, Espresso, UI Automator) and/or iOS (Swift, XCUITest)
🧱 Build and maintain Page Object Models (POMs), reusable libraries, and test utilities
🔄 Write and execute end-to-end test cases for core financial product flows
🔌 Integrate API mocking tools (WireMock Cloud) for record/replay testing
🏗️ Work within mono-repo architecture, resolving dependency conflicts (Hilt/Dagger)
☁️ Execute cross-device testing via BrowserStack and CI/CD pipelines (Harness)
🤝 Collaborate with dev teams on accessibility IDs, feature flags (Statsig/UCP+), and testability improvements
🧠 Contribute to GenAI-assisted test generation and validate AI-generated test cases
🐞 Report and track defects through resolution
📝 Maintain clear documentation in Jira and Confluence
🌍 Work effectively in a distributed, async-first team across time zones

✅ Requirements

✔️ 5–7+ years of experience as QA Engineer / SDET
✔️ Strong hands-on experience with Android automation (Kotlin + Espresso/UI Automator)
✔️ Deep understanding of POM design patterns and mobile test frameworks
✔️ Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt/Dagger)
✔️ CI/CD and cloud-based test execution experience
✔️ Strong Git workflow experience in large mono-repos
✔️ Ability to own workstreams and deliver independently
✔️ Excellent written communication skills
✔️ Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or payments domains

➕ Nice to have: iOS automation, API mocking tools, Bazel, AI-assisted QE workflows, accessibility testing, large-scale fintech experience.
